Description: Rare Miller Huggins professional model baseball bat c.1912-25 (PSA/DNA "GU6"). Spalding "Autograph" model bat with Huggins facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 30.75" long and weighs 39oz. "Spalding" trademark logo is stamped into the knob which has a small tack hammered in. Uncracked with strong use evident throughout with many visible ball and contact marks. There is a chip to the knob (approximately 25% is missing) and some pitting to the barrel end. One of the great managers of the 20th century, Huggins served with the Yankees from 1918-1929 and led the team to (6) American League titles and (3) World Series Championships.
