Description: 1947 Babe and Claire Ruth autographed -Babe Ruth Story+ movie contract. Important (8) page agreement between the Ruth+s and the Monogram Pictures Corporation who were given exclusive movie rights to a film largely based on the then soon to be published biography, "The Babe Ruth Story." Dated July 8, 1947, the typewritten document has been signed (on page 7) "George Herman Ruth" and "Claire Ruth" in fountain pen rating 9 to 9/10 out of 10. Also signed on the same page by a representative of the movie company and the following page by 3 notaries. In fine overall condition with a touch of light scattered wear, some staple holes along the upper edge (having been removed from the style of folio which was common in the period), and there is a small portion missing from the upper left corner of the first page.
