Description: Babe Ruth's personal marble top ornamental hall credenza c.1920-40s (Ruth Apartment Photo Match). Original wooden hall credenza as once prominently displayed within the Ruth apartment retaining its original black mottled marble inset top. Front of the piece exhibits gilt accentual decor with carved figural busts at top of legs along with floral garniture. Claw foot base with openwork design presents in its original finish with light to moderate surface wear. The offered credenza is photographed within the Ruth apartment and will include a modern copy of the image picturing Babe Ruth standing in front of the piece. 39" long, 34" tall, 17" deep.
