Gilt decorated ornate hall mirror as once displayed within the Riverside Drive apartment of Babe Ruth which hung above the marble top credenza featured within this auction. Mirror is of a wooden and gesso construction having gilt decor with red tinted color appointments. Floral garniture suspended at the top by wire. Some minimal surface wear and few areas of age flaking are present. Attractive period furniture accessory with direct Ruth provenance.
