Description: Remarkable Emmitt Smith autographed Dallas Cowboys professional model helmet presented to Reggie White c.1992-93 (Photo match). Museum quality game helmet as presented from one Legendary player to another ranks among the finest of it's type ever offered with regard to provenance and use. Riddell helmet has "E Smith" block letter Dymo label affixed to the back. To the right are "98" and "44" decals (in honor of Jerome Brown and Shane Curry) which were worn by several members of the Cowboys during 1992 season playoff games (in January of 1993) and possibly some late regular season games. Extensive usage wear is evident throughout with scuffing, scrapes, and are areas of color transfer from contact with other players. It has been signed "Emmitt Smith" in marker rating 8 out of 10 and inscribed "To Thank for Great Week." The Cowboys beat Philadelphia on Jan. 10th and San Francisco the following week to advance to Super Bowl XXVII. It is presumed that the Jan. 10th game is that which is referenced in the inscription. Images of Smith taken during the Jan. 17th game in California show him with what is almost certainly this exact helmet with decals which appear to be positioned identically to those on the offered piece. Without reservation, one of the most important pieces of modern football game equipment that we have handled. Includes full LOA from JSA, Photo-Match.com LOA, LOA from Hunt Auctions, and letter of provenance from the White Family: EX
