Description: 1978 USC Trojans National Championship ring. 10K gold ring in the manner of the rings presented to the National Champion USC Trojans having "USC" inset ruby stones, total weight 0.75 ct, on top with "National Champions" lettering surrounding. Side panel has tiling with date and team name with other side panel featuring "MacDonald" name on a scroll above helmet and Rose Bowl decor. Marked Jostens 10K on interior ring band. Size 11 with total weight of 1.4 Troy ounces. Possibly issued as a salesman's sample given that no player uniform number is found on the helmet decor.
