Description: Rare Yankee Stadium box seat chair c.1920s-30s. Early Windsor style chair as used in Yankee Stadium has been refinished but otherwise matches the style of those known to have been used in 1920s-1930s era. A small amount of the original and distinctive green paint can be seen in a few areas which the upper surface has chipped away. Approximately 34" tall and 19" wide with evident wear consistent with long term outdoor use and storage. Desirable early piece is one of only a handful to have been offered in recent years.
