Description: Babe Herman professional model baseball bat c.1926. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Herman facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 36oz. Strong use and some general age related wear are evident throughout and a handle crack has been secured with several nails. In addition, grain swelling to the barrel has likewise been secured with approx. (25) additional nails throughout. Factory side writing can not be readily discerned but appears to date to 1926 and may indicate shipment back to the factory by fellow Major Leaguer Bill Rogell.
