Description: Fine 1960 Dick Groat National League Batting Championship presentational silver bat. Classic Louisville Slugger presentational silver bat awarded to Groat for his National League leading .325 batting average during the Pirates Championship season. Bat measures 34+ long and weighs a total of (53) ounces fashioned of solid sterling silver which is hallmarked on one end. -Batting Champion 1960 National League .325+ titling is impressed in the barrel along with a Louisville Slugger 125 model centerbrand and Groat facsimile signature. Fine overall condition with a hint of light handling wear including some small indentations on either end which have no effect on display value. One of the most significant award pieces with which a player can be bestowed and among the more desirable in the collecting field.
