Description: Mickey Mantle professional model baseball bat c.1950-60 (MEARS A8). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Mantle facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.6oz. Model number "K55" is factory stamped in the knob. As noted in the accompanying documentation the bat "exhibits heavy use with deeply embedded lace marks present predominantly on back of the barrel". The barrel of the bat has had some professional restoration to an area of deadwood and an after market stamping neither of which remain visible.
