Description: Stan Musial professional model baseball bat circa 1950s. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with "Musial Model" block lettered in the barrel measures 34.25" long and weighs 28.8oz. Model number "M159" has been factory stamped in the knob, Musial's favored type in the period and that which he ordered all through the 1950s. Outstanding usage wear is evident throughout with the barrel covered in deeply embedded ball and stitch marks. There is a small crack in the upper handle and an indentation in the barrel, neither of which have marked effect on eye appeal.
