Description: Rare Danny Murtaugh single signed baseball. Spalding C.Feeney ONL ball has been signed "Danny Murtaugh" across the sweetspot in ink rating 7/8 out of 10. Light toning/soiling and a hint of wear to ball. Murtaugh spent (15) seasons as Manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates leading them to the postseason (5) times and a pair of World Series Championships in 1960 and 1971. He remains a beloved figure in the town which favors their sports heroes and his number "40" was retired in 1977. A notorious non-signer Murtaugh left a wave of clubhouse and secretarial autographed material in the marketplace and his signature is far more uncommon than nearly any other prominent figure who spent so long a time involved in the game.
