Description: 1875 Andrew Carnegie signed check. Original check dated February 13, 1875 has been signed "Andrew Carnegie" at lower right and made out in the amount of $65,000. This sum equates to just under $1,500,000 adjusted for inflation and a notation within the documents relays that is was for "1460 Shares Pennsylvania R.R. Co." In outstanding overall condition with a hint of light storage and handling wear. Carnegie amassed his fortune in the Steel industry but made early investments in the railroads.
