Lot Number: 146

Description: 1906 World Series program (at Cubs). Original program issued for game played at the West Side Grounds, scored in pencil for Game 5 which was played October 13. Consistent age toning throughout front/back covers and interior pages. Binding remains largely intact with 1/4" separation at top, 1" separation at bottom, and varying degrees of minute separation through center portion. Vertical centerfold is visible but has limited effect on display qualities. Small crease at lower right corner of front cover. Other exterior wear/soiling is relatively minor. Interior pages remain well preserved with second to last having small chip at upper edge and last having slightly more substantial tear resulting in approximately .5"x2" section along top edge missing near binding (this small piece is present and affixed to the preceding page). Despite noted condition issues the offered likely represents one of the most well preserved of a very few copies of this program known to exist: Technical VG/EX with strong EX or better display qualities
