Description: Balance of the Mel Ott and Ott Family Collection. Includes (16) c.1920s-50s photographs including a nicer oversized studio portrait and (2) choice images in uniform (the balance are mostly street clothes shots); 1952 Oakland Oaks 11.5"x20" team photo/premium; series of Brown & Bigelow royalty statements as sent to Ott along with (3) original calendars on which he appeared; Bubber Jonnard single signed baseball; lengthy handwritten letter/statement by Mel Ott regarding Goebel beer/brewing (unsigned) along with a small metal tag that has "Mel Ott, Goebel..." lettering impressed; 1964 "Melvin Thomas Ott...Greater New Orleans, Inc. Hall of Fame" plaque with related image of Mrs. Ott receiving it and (2) original programs to the event (along with additional from the year before); vintage scorebook in which detail from a number of games has been recorded. It is possible that Ott himself filled in some of these however there are others which post-date his death; 1951 handwritten letter from Mrs. Travis Jackson to Mrs. Ott; 1985 Hall of Fame Induction invitation sent to Mrs. Ott along with her 1994 National League season pass; softball with the year 1940 written on along with sentiment(s) to Mel Ott which has been signed by a number of his associates/friends; Spalding ONL ball with notations written on regarding "Mel Ott League 1961"; 1951 Baseball Hall of Fame Induction commemorative bat numbered out of (500); (7) c.1970s Ott real photo postcards; and a handful of other pieces. Varying degrees of wear throughout. Includes letter of provenance from the Ott Family: GD-EX/MT
