Description: Lot of (8) Mel Ott and New York Giants photographs from the Ott Collection c.1930-40s. Includes 11"x14" photo of Ott leaping with general wear and upper corner which has separated but is held in place by tape from behind. Signed by the photographer (Ray Howard) along the bottom with his additional handwritten notations; nice selection of sepia toned photographs showing groups of New York Giants players ranging in size from approx. 6.5"x8.5" to 8"x10". All include Mel Ott with other notables throughout. There are (5) dating c.1930s and (2) c.1942 (the 1942 pieces are duplicates of the same image showing players with Health patch on sleeve). All of the 1930s era pieces have wire/news service stamps on back. Varying degrees of wear throughout. Includes letter of provenance from the Ott Family: GD-EXEstimated Price Range: ($300-$500)
