Description: 1932 Mel Ott New York Giants contract with related letters. Original Uniform Player's Contract as issued to Ott for the 1932 season serving as the secondary copy intended for his files and as such is unsigned. Signed on behalf of the team by James J. Tierney (fountain pen, 8-8/9 out of 10) whom has added a secretarial Charles Stoneham signature. Also includes a pair of original letters on "New York Base Ball Club" stationary, one of which accompanied the contract. The other was sent shortly thereafter and related to training camp.
