Description: Ted Williams professional model baseball bat c.1960 (PSA/DNA "GU 8.5"). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Williams facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 31.9oz. Model number "W166" is factory stamped in the knob which also has a period pencil notation indicating weight. Uncracked with light evident useage wear including pine tar on the handle and some scattered ball, stitch, and rack marks. From an order of (6) W166 model bats matching these specifications sent to Williams in 1960. A fine example dating to his last season in baseball.
