Description: UPDATED DESCRIPTION: 1955 Dave Hoskins Indianapolis Indians professional model home jersey. Cream colored flannel jersey has Indians team name across the front in scripted logo font and number "22" on back. In the collar is a "Hoskins" embroidered strip tag. Additional on the front tail lists year "1955" and the Wilson (size 44) and wash tags are above. Useage and wash wear are evident throughout with a small team repair on the shoulder. There are a few scattered specs/spots of discoloration, (1) button is a replacement, and a logo patch has been removed from the sleeve. A noted player in the Negro Leagues, Hoskins was signed by Cleveland on the recommendation of Satchel Paige. Includes a 1950s team issued 6"x8.75" picture pack photo of Hoskins wearing a similar jersey and LOA from Hunt Auctions: EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,500)
