Description: Important 1948 Boston Braves National League Championship ring presented to team owner Lou Perini. Classic design has a 0.5 karat diamond on the face, set within a maroon stone background, which is lettered "National League Baseball Club Of Boston, League Champions" around the edge. On one shank is a crossed bats and ball decoration and the opposite has "1948" above the Braves team logo. "Louis R. Perini" is engraved on the interior band (small portion worn away) which is marked "10K" beside the makers' name. Size (10) with light/mild wear and weighs (15) grams. A rare offering of Championship jewelry presented to so prominent a figure. Includes letter of provenance from the grandson of Lou Perini: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($7,500-$10,000)
