Description: UPDATED DESCRIPTION: Fine Jimmie Foxx single signed baseball c.1960s. J.DeBeer and Son "Semi-Pro League" baseball has been signed "Jimmie Foxx" across the sweetspot in ink rating 7 out of 10. Ball displays mild toning/discoloration and has a clear coat added years ago to aid in preservation. NOTE: JSA has elected to render an opinion that the signature has potentially been enhanced in the period. Upon close inspection it is our firm belief that this appearance is due to original ink flow on the ball surface giving a dual line visual. The baseball was obtained in person by Mr. Kennedy in the period and is consistent in every fashion with the remainder of the collection. Please note that the ball will NOT include an LOA from JSA but again we do feel very strongly that it is in fact un-altered as described. A very strong example from one of the great sluggers of the first half of the 20th Century. Includes letter of provenance from the Kennedy Family: Sig.
