Description: Rare Ira Thomas single signed baseball c.1958. J.DeBeer and Son "Semi-Pro League" baseball has been signed "Ira F Thomas" on a side panel in fountain pen rating 6/7-7 out of 10. Ball displays mild toning/discoloration and has a clear coat applied years ago to aid in preservation. An included handwritten letter, dated 1958, which is signed by Thomas references the ball and gives information to be used in writing other former members of the 1910 Athletics. Thomas played (10) years of Major League Baseball as a member of the New York Highlanders, Detroit Tigers, and Philadelphia Athletics. With the later he won World Series Championships in 1910, 11, and 13. Includes auction LOA from JSA and letter of provenance from the Kennedy Family: Overall EXEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
