Description: 1959 Ty Cobb handwritten letter. February 2, 1959 dated letter on his personal stationary has been signed, "Tyrus R. Cobb." Content relates to an autograph request and Cobb's appeal to the recipient to send return postage for shipment of a baseball. Both the signature and body of the letter are done in his trademark green ink and there is transfer/spotting throughout (please see image for the effect which this has on condition/rating).
