Description: 1927 Ty Cobb autographed photograph. Sepia toned image (just under 7.5"x9.5") has been signed, "To E. Mack, from his friend Ty Cobb, 4/14/27." Fountain pen signature rates 6/7-7 out of 10. Photo has light toning and mild scattered wear to edges and front surface. "National Photo" stamp appears on back which has some tape along the upper edge from prior mounting. Although it can not be stated with certainty, it is presumed that Cobb inscribed the photo to Earle Mack, son of the Athletics legendary long-time figurehead, whom was then a Coach with the team.
