Description: Chicago Cubs professional model jacket c.1940s-50s. Blue wool jacket with leather sleeves has the Cubs red, white, and blue logo patch on front chest. "Wilson" tag appears in the collar with adjacent size "46" flag tag. An embroidered strip tag below denotes player number, "20." According to the history provided by the consignor, this jacket was presented to them by Rogers Hornsby who had owned the jacket while coaching with the Cubs. This number was worn by a host of different players throughout the dating period with the notable among them including Stan Hack and Dutch Leonard.
