Description: 1942 Ty Cobb handwritten letter. March 9, 1942 dated handwritten letter on his personal stationery (trimmed at sides to approx. 6.5"x7.5") has been signed, "Sincerely Ty Cobb." Content relates to a misplaced autograph request and Cobb's apology for the delay in getting the piece returned to it's owner. Signature and handwriting rate 7/8 out of 10. Light toning to page which has fold lines, two pieces of vintage tape near the top, and mounting damage/residue on back.
