Description: Fine Christy Mathewson photograph by Brown Brothers c.1910s (PSA/DNA Type I). Striking sepia toned 4.75"x6.25" image shows Matty in classic form with arms atop his head in pitching windup. Photographers masking (applied in preparation for publication) has been removed from the front (small amount remains along the lower edge) and there is mild general wear throughout. Most notably this takes the form of a pair of very small chips to the upper most surface and a small tear at bottom. "Brown Bros." stamp appears on the back along with several other marks/notations. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA graded "Type I" and certificate of provenance from Photo File: GD/VGEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$4,000)
