Description: Cal Ripken Jr. autographed Sept. 6, 1995 record setting 2,131st consecutive game-used baseball (outstanding provenance). Rawlings G.Budig Official American League baseball with "Ripken+2131" logo has been signed "Cal Ripken Jr #2131" on the sweetspot. Ink signature rates 7/8 out of 10. Ball displays soiling and appropriate usage wear throughout including a large scuff. A letter of provenance signed by then Orioles teammate of Ripken Bret Barberie states that he personally obtained the ball after the 5th inning of the game and then had it signed by Ripken. One of the more well documented game attributed pieces from this historic day that we have encountered. Includes auction LOA from JSA and letter of provenance from Bret Barberie: Ball EX, Sig.
