Description: July 16, 1970 Richie Hebner autographed "First Hit In Three Rivers" baseball. Soiled and well used Spalding C.Feeney Official National League baseball has been signed "Richie Hebner" in ink rating 7/8 out of 10. It is inscribed, in his hand, just above "First Hit In Three Rivers July 16, 1970." On the opposite panel he has written "First Run Score In Three Rivers July 16, 1970." An included notarized letter of provenance signed by Hebner himself states, "this baseball which bears my signature is the ball I hit...on Opening Day of the new Three Rivers Stadium...this is my writing and signature..." Three Rivers opened to great fanfare and would serve as the Pirates home venue for (30) years hosting many memorable and historic moments.
