Description: Exceptional 1951 Mickey Mantle rookie photograph by George Dorrill (PSA/DNA Type I). Superb black and white 8"x10" image picturing a smiling Mickey Mantle during his 1951 rookie season in New York Yankees road uniform with 1951 AL anniversary photo. Stamped by noted St. Louis photographer George Dorrill on the reverse along with H&B archival stamp. Front has some minor surface wrinkling and subtle surface residue from printer's editing ink to one area. Very fine Mantle rookie image with desirable provenance to the Louisville Slugger collection.
