Description: Jimmie Foxx professional quality baseball bat c.1930s. "Burke Batrite" model bat by Hanna Mfg. Co. of Athens, Georgia has "Foxx" player name block lettered into the barrel. It measures 35" long and weighs 32.4oz with 1930 patent date stamped in the knob. Usage wear is evident throughout and a severe crack which runs from handle to centerbrand has been secured with glue. An outstanding example for display, and excellent alternative to a far more expensive bat which matches known factory records, with bold and well pronounced markings.
