Description: Rare Bennie Bengough professional model baseball bat c.1920s. Hand turned "Kren's Special" model 174 baseball bat with "B.Bengough" block lettered into the barrel measures 34.75" long and weighs 35oz. Strong usage wear is evident throughout with visible contact marks and grain swelling. A handle crack is secured in place with a pair of vintage nails. Bengough spent (8) of his (10) Major League seasons with the New York Yankees and was a part of their 1923, 1927, and 1928 World Series Championship teams. An exceedingly rare game bat and one of only a handful to have surfaced. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and additional COA: EXEstimated Price Range: ($4,000-$6,000)
