Description: 1950 Dick Manville Boston Braves professional model home jersey. Cream colored flannel jersey with the "Braves" team logo on front has number "39" on back. "Manville" embroidered strip tag appears in the collar with "Horace Partridge" and size "46" tags above. In the tail is a "50" embroidered year tag. Evident usage and wash wear with what looks to be custom hemming to the front tail which was done by the team in the period. A Braves logo patch was removed from the left sleeve and material which perfectly matches the flannel jersey was used to cover up the resulting hole; given the skill with which this was done we presume that it too was likely done by the team in the period (or a Minor League team to which the jersey was handed down).
