Description: 1971 Roberto Clemente presentational trophy (World Championship Season). Elegant figural trophy presented to Clemente in recognition of his 1971 World Championship season and World Series MVP award. Walnut wooden plinth base with silver plated pillar having brass vessel with figural player finial on top. Inscribed brass placard on front, "One of the Most Complete Baseball Players in History Being Named Sport Magazines' Outstanding Player in 1971 as well as Winning the Babe Ruth Award for his Performance in the World Series-We the people of Bidwell Wish to present this award to Roberto Walker Clemente". The very bottom molded edge panel of the wooden base has been restored and there has been some replating to the figurals/vessel. 21" tall.
