Description: 1970 Roberto Clemente Knights of Columbus award. Figural award as presented to Clemente on October 10, 1970 in recognition of his selection as "Personality of the Year Award for Sports". Knights of Columbus figural insignia encased in Lucite affixed to a painted black wooden base with silver plated placard attached to the base. Light to moderate wear is visible on the Lucite surface with some touch of paint to the black base. 7" tall. The award is accompanied by the original dinner program at which Clemente received the award. Includes letter of provenance from the Clemente family: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
