Description: Roberto Clemente U.S. Marine Corps photograph c.1958. Original sepia tone 8"x10" photograph picturing Clemente in a posed photograph with several U.S. Marines "fitting" him for a helmet. Clemente served in the Marine Corps from 1958-1964 including some active duty at Camp LeJeune in North Carolina. Stamped on the back by USMCR photographer on the reverse with some surface wrinkling on the front. Iconic period image with direct family provenance.
