Description: Rare and Important 1960 Roberto Clemente Pittsburgh Pirates World Series ring. Intricately designed ring with top featuring an inset rendering of Pittsburgh's Forbes Field having inset diamond solitaire of approximately .75 karat weight. "Pittsburgh World Champions" lettering surrounds the central decor. One side panel displays "Bob Clemente" and "21" engraved banners above and below "P" Pirates emblem with the opposite panel having Pirates team insignia above "1960" inscribed banner. Interior ring band is appropriately engraved with "Jostens 14K" hallmark. Total weight is approx. 1 Troy ounce with ring size of 11 1/2. Extraordinary condition is evident with some light general surface wear. Monumentally important championship award dating to one of the most storied World Series in the history of the game and Roberto Clemente's first World Championship.
