Description: 1970 Roberto Clemente Night presentational plaque. Walnut wooden shield shaped plaque as presented to Clemente on July 24, 1970 at the Hotel Americana in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Applied brass placard in front is inscribed (in Spanish), "In reward for his merits and in recognition of his work in the sports field". Overall size is 10" tall with some light to moderate surface wear to the brass placard including some scratching and one small indentation.
