Description: Highly significant 1966 Brooks Robinson Baltimore Orioles World Series Championship ring. Classic design features a large diamond on the top face which is set within a baseball field against jet black background. "Baltimore Orioles World Champions" is lettered around the beveled edge. On the right shank is a relief of Memorial Stadium with "Orioles" team name scripted on a baseball and the year "1966" below. Left shank has the name "B.Robinson" across the top and is decorated below with a design that incorporates a glove, bats, and baseball with number "5" impressed. The interior band has been stamped "LGB 14K" and has "Official" engraved. Size (10.5) weighing (25) grams with a touch of light general wear and a few small chips to black stone on top. One of the greatest defensive position players in baseball history, Robinson spent his entire (23) year career in Baltimore earning an impressive (16) Gold Glove Awards. The 1964 American League MVP lead Baltimore to their first World Series Championship in 1966 and repeated again in 1970. One of the most important Championship rings to have entered the marketplace and one of only a select few to have been awarded to a player of this caliber.
