Description: Johnny Mize autographed 1953 All-Star Game professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat has Mize facsimile signature and “All Star Game Cincinnati 1953” block lettered into the barrel. It measures 36” long, weighs 33.4oz, and has “”M153” model number factory stamped in the knob. Nice evident usage wear with a number of deeply impressed stitch and ball marks along with several faint rack streaks. The handle has vintage tape and pine tar applied to aid in grip. Signed in blue marker, “Johnny Mize 11/23/87” rating 8 out of 10. Obtained by our consignor directly from Mize whom affixed his personal “The Big Cat” address label just to the right of the centerbrand.
