Description: Rare 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series ring. Original 14K gold ring as presented to Pirates+ player Charlie Sands in recognition of the 1971 World Championship. -Pittsburgh 1971 World Champions+ lettering encircles a central inset diamond of approx. 1/2 carat weight. The adjacent side panel displays the Pirates logo with team name above while the other side panel has -Sands+ player name positioned atop an image of the stadium. Properly marked, -Jostens 14K+ on interior ring band with an interior sizing spacer found within. Excellent overall condition with minimal surface wear retaining well defined craftsmanship detail.
