Description: 1977 Orestes Minoso figural baseball trophy. Notably large 30" tall figural trophy as presented to Minoso in recognition of his status as a grand statesman of Cuban baseball. Wooden two tiered plinth style trophy features a large two handled loving cup at top with baseball batsman finial. Applied metal placard on the front of the base inscribed to Minoso dated 3/12/1977 in Miami. Wooden trophy body has some areas of surface scratching and minor chipping. Metal titling placard on front of base shows some light scratching and few indentations. Includes letter of provenance from the Minoso family: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
