Description: Sherm Lollar professional model baseball bat c.1950s. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Lollar facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.2oz. Model number "R43" is stamped in the knob which has "10" player number written on. Strong usage wear visible throughout the barrel which is covered in ball and stitch marks. There is a small crack to upper handle which is not visible when the bat is positioned for display. Overall, an outstanding example from this key White Sox team member who made (7) All-Star Game appearances and earned the first Gold Glove awarded to a catcher.
