Description: Luke Sewell professional model baseball bat c.1930s (side written Jack Hayes). Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with Sewell facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 34.75" long and weighs 33oz. Side written in grease pencil "Jack. Hayes" with a 1935 date indicating that Sewell's team mate returned to bat to Louisville Slugger to be used a template for his future orders. Strong usage wear evident throughout with ball, stitch, and cleat marks visible along with a vintage nail repaired handle crack.
