Description: Rare Fidel Castro single signed baseball. Batos brand "Inder L.P.V. Industria Deportiva" marked baseball has been signed on the side panel, "Fidel Castro." Black ink signature rates 7/8-8 out of 10. The ball has light even toning, an area of spotting/discoloration, and a few other very minor scattered flaws. Prior to his rise in politics Castro was said to be on track for a professional baseball career with a fastball so good that he was scouted by several Major League teams. Included is an 4"x6" vintage sepia toned photo of Castro in uniform as he winds up to throw. An additional image of same size shows the teams' catcher. Both have some small staple holes.
