Description: Gil Hodges professional model baseball bat c.1956. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 34.4oz. Bat exhibits light to moderate evident use including ball marks, stitching impressions, and barrel wear. Model S2 stamped on knob end with period "14" in black india ink. Originally obtained by a member of the famed Happy Felton Knothole Gang the offered bat was given by Hodges directly to the recipient's Uncle. The bat displays signatures of the Dodgers team which appear to have been clubhouse signed before presentation to the recipient. Highly desirable Hodges game bat dating to the prime of his career and the pinnacle of the Brooklyn Dodgers' championship teams.
