Description: Scarce 1944 "Car-Pitts" Steelers-Cardinals souvenir pennant. Exceedingly rare single season pennant as issued for the merged team of the Cardinals and Steelers in 1944 due to loss of players to WWII service. Full size black pennant with player graphic at left end and team names across the front in yellow. Very fine condition with tiny pinholes at corners and tip area. The team finished the season with an 0-10 record and was re-formed as the "Steagles" the following season as a blend of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia players.
