Description: 1967 Gale Sayers 1,000 Yard Club Foundation presentational award. Rare and desirable presentational piece a sgiven to Sayers in recognition of his enshrinement into the NFL's 1,000 Yard Club. Brass shield shaped figural of very fine quality displays NFL insignia with "1000 Yard Club Foundation" in relief lettering. Shield is mounted atop a walnut wooden base with applied brass placard inscribed to Sayers and dated June 3, 1967". Superb original condition throughout with minimal surface and age wear.
