Description: Outstanding Jim Parker Baltimore Colts professional model jersey c.1960s. White dureen jersey with three quarter length sleeves and blue and white shoulder stripe accents has player number "77" on front, back, and sleeves. "MacGregor" manufacturers tag on front tail notes the size, "52", and appears next to a wash tag. An additional line of stitching to one side suggests that an additional tag, once is place, is no longer attached. Strong usage and wash wear evident throughout with a small team repair on the back. Parker is widely regarded as one of the finest offensive lineman in NFL history noted as the first full time offensive lineman elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. "It didn't take me long to learn the one big rule. Just keep them away from John. I remember Coach Weeb Ewbank telling me my first summer in camp, 'You can be the most unpopular man on the team if the quarterback gets hurt.' How could I ever forget that?" remarked Parker regarding star quarterback Johnny Unitas. Superb vintage Hall of Fame member game jersey of notable scarcity. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EX
