Description: 1963 Legislative Committee on Professional Boxing Agenda signed by (5) incl. Cassius Clay. Paper sheet bearing a type written agenda of the Legislative Hearing which took place on February 4, 1963 in Albany in response to the move by the State of New York to outlaw boxing. During a match the previous year Benny Paret died as a result of injuries sustained during his match with Emile Griffith. The sheet has been signed by (5) notables whom were in attendance highlighted by a young Muhammad Ali, then known as Cassius Clay, reading in full, "From Cassius Clay Next Champ Liston in 8 Good Luck." Other signers as Carmen Basillio, Billy Graham, Gil McDougald, and Henry Armstrong. Paper has toned and has areas of discoloration (likely due to water damage). In addition, there is chipping and some small edge tears along with toned pieces of vintage tape. Highly desirable piece of interesting relation to Ali's career signed in rarely seen style.
